The 2022 PEI Science Fair will be a virtual fair open to students in grades 4 through 12. Although participation in the Science Fair is not mandatory, schools are encouraged to promote this virtual science fair opportunity to students and to pick the best projects to represent their school at the fair.
For the PEI fair, projects must be submitted using the platform ProjectBoard. Instructions on how to use the platform and how to set up an account for the fair (https://docs.google.com/document/d/18HK12VnvzpA_RNvEinPlQ4QVN8CDmnzEB-Qi96ZJzqw/edit?usp=sharing)
VERY IMPORTANT –
the same email address must be used for ProjectBoard and the registration

are being submitted to the provincial science fair for the school. Not all
projects at a school can necessarily be submitted as we strive for equity across
all participating schools.

projects to be completed, registered, and uploaded for the provincial
fair
April 1 – 9, 2022 - judging of projects will happen

We will be recognizing the top projects in the elementary (grades 4, 5, 6), junior (grades 7, 8), intermediate (grades 9, 10), and senior (grades 11, 12) divisions and also choosing the top projects who will compete at the Canada Wide Science Fair being held virtually in May.
* All Covid protocols must be followed when completing your project. If students are doing projects involving people (including surveys) or animals they MUST get permission from the ethics committee of the PEI Science Fair before starting.
